Virtual Jaguar is an Atari Jaguar video game system emulator that can be used as a libretro core.

Background

Virtual Jaguar is a portable Jaguar emulator which is based on the source code of what used to be Potato Emulation.

BIOS

The libretro port of Virtual Jaguar does not support using BIOS image files.

Options

This core has a few options that can be tweaked from the core options menu. The default setting is highlighted and in italics:

  • virtualjaguar_usefastblitter (disabled/enabled): Use a faster, but less accurate blitter.
  • virtualjaguar_doom_res_hack (disabled/enabled): Needed for Doom to run in its correct resolution.
